Offering Hiking event/course in Jotunheimen, Norway

Experience a hike in the amazing Jotunheimen National Park.

Cost for a 4-day hike with a minimum of 4 people: 5000 SEK/person

Included in the event/course: 

● Personal guide for 4 days (3 nights)

● Lunch and fika/snacks outdoors – cooking on Trangia stove

● Cutlery, thermos

● Map of the area; safety training; navigation training; first-aid 

● Sitting-pad, windbag

● Tent (option)

Not included:

● Your personal clothing. You need warm clothes, as well as wind- and rain resistant shell jacket and trousers. Good hiking boots is a must. Hat, gloves.

● Back-pack 40 – 60 litres, big enough to carry change of clothes + food and other items

● Lodging for the hike, if you don’t want to sleep in tent* (sleeping bag, ground sheet)

● Travel costs to and from the location

* Housing can be at Tyinholmen Mountain Station; in tent; or in private cabins arranged by NFO. Early booking for housing at the Mountain Station or private cabins is necessary.

The hikes are between 1000 – 1600 m altitude. Compared to the European alps this is comparable to 2500 – 4000 m altitude. It means a rougher climate and quick weather changes. Upon booking you will be provided with a list of “must to bring” as well as a provisional itinerary. We will also have a meeting on-line or IRL some weeks ahead of the event/adventure.

It is possible to reach the location with local bus, or by car. Pick-up by NFO from Tyinkrysset is also possible.
